Fuhrer Obama's Little Red Books Already Hitting Schools?

Looks that way.

My 8th grade son is in an advanced English class at a public middle school here in Racine, Wisconsin. I just found out that my son's new (copyright 2008) Wisconsin - McDougal Littell Literature book has 15 pages covering Barack Obama.

I was shocked - No John McCain, no Hillary Clinton, no George Bush - Just Barack Obama. I'm wondering how it is that Obama's story gets put into an 8th grade literature book? It would be one thing, if it was just the tidbit about his boyhood days, but 15 pages, and they talk about his "Life of Service". Honestly, what has Obama really done to be included in this book? Not only that, but on page 847 there is a photo of Obama at the 2004 Democratic Convention with at least 8 Obama signs in the background! Front & center is an www.obama2004.com sign.

Now I understand that many teachers are liberals, but does the school have the right to shove Obama down our kid's throats? All the kids grouped together and read the story. After that, they discussed it... I guess it appears that Obama is planning ahead. If he doesn't get his coveted Presidency, Obama is going to make sure, that the younger generations know all about him, and his "life of service".
Michelle Malkin wonders:
Will they be required to learn the goose steps and children’s anthem, too?
Indeed. Glorious Leader is getting his Stalin on.

Up next: PURGES?!?

I think Obama's relatively weak but nonetheless real interactions with William Ayers are a legitimate campaign issue. But Obama's best response, after telling the facts of the relationship, is to point out who else supported him. Republican machers Walter and Leonora Annenberg gave the former terrorist $50 million.

They also gave money to Rick Santorum, Strom Thurmond and Mitt Romney. Annenberg was Nixon's ambassador to Britain. If Obama is "palling around with terrorists," the Republican Annenbergs are funding them.

Yesterday, the McCain campain put out a press release boasting that Leonore Annenberg had just endorsed him for president.

Why is McCain happy to accept the endorsement of a funder of terrorism?

OMG!!! A textbook covering a politician!

Can you put down the video games (how old are you anyway?) and please supply something with a little more substance?

OMG!!! A liberal with his head so up Obama's sphincter that he can't see the problem with a textbook proclaiming the glories of Fuhrer Obama - for FIFTEEN PAGES - before HE HAS BEEN CROWN EMPEROR OF THE WORLD!!!

If this was next year's textbook and Obama is President [shudder], there wouldn't be a complaint. This is just propaganda, not that liberals see a problem with it when it suits their fascist agendas.

re: Annenberg talking point - That is bogus as Stanley Kurtz explains:

The Obama camp denies CAC’s radicalism by pointing to the fact that this foundation was funded by Nixon Ambassador and Reagan friend, Walter Annenberg. Moderates and Republicans often support Annenberg activities, it’s true. Yet the story of modern philanthropy is largely the story of moderate and conservative donors finding their funds “captured” by far more liberal, often radical, beneficiaries. CAC’s story is a classic of the genre. Ayers and Obama guided CAC money to community organizers, like ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) and the Developing Communities Project (Part of the Gamaliel Foundation network), groups self-consciously working in the radical tradition of Saul Alinsky. Walter Annenberg’s personal politics don’t change that one iota.

The fact that Ayers and other tenured radicals hold power at our universities is in no way negated by the presence of Republican appointees on university boards of trustees. Ayers’s radicalism is undeniable. He remains unapologetic for his bombings of the 1960s. Even now, he refuses to rule out violence as a resort. His education writings are deeply politicized and filled with exhortations to “resist” America’s racist and oppressive social system. In 2006 — along with his wife and fellow former-terrorist, Bernardine Dohrn, and Jeff Jones — Ayers released, Sing A Battle Song, a collection of intensely radical writings from the Weather Underground. Ayers makes it clear in that book that, while he is embarrassed by some of the Weather Underground’s rhetoric, he still adheres to the same ideas. Beyond its strictly historical interest, Ayers and his co-editors make a point of hoping that their old writings would be “of use to new generations of militant activists and organizers.” By directing CAC funds to groups like ACORN and the Developing Communities Project of the Gamaliel Foundation, Ayers was supporting just such militant activists and organizers.

Funny how Obama's disciples are so worried that people may wake up to the radical nature of their guy that they try to put up such flimsy straw men. Under this fantasy "thinking", anyone who pays U.S. taxes is guilty of war crimes because those dollars by bombs that may be killing unfortunate bystanders. You pays your money, thus you are endorsing anything that happens with those dollars.

Hey, what if you buy a Big Mac at Mickey D's and an employee there gets his paycheck, goes and gets drunk, bangs some floozy in the bathroom, then goes home and smacks around his girlfriend. Under the Obama Defense Rules, your lunch meal is funding promiscuity and domestic violence.

But Obama funneling money to radical racist outfits ain't no thing. Nope, not at all. And you're a racist to even think otherwise!!!

Hypocrisy is the coin of the liberal realm. Better get used to it folks unless Johnny McC gets a f*cking clue and stands up for the Truth, the Treason Media's smears be damned!

Have you looked at the book yourself or do you believe everything you read from conservative-biased sites? How do you know it's true?

Why do you hate America so much?

Bwahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!

(I SWEAR to you, dear readers, that I am NOT making these Anonymous Pussy posts in order to give the impression that they are so stupid and clueless that they actually think they are making valid points. I'm as bemused as you are - "you" meaning "sane people" - at this nonsense.)

Hey, AP, did you click the link and see the scanned page or do you just reflexively call every criticism of your Glorious Leader and Messiah "biased"? Of course not because you have no intellectually curiosity to go with your lack if ideological honesty.

As for your repeated barfing of "Why do you hate America so much?" in every post - I'm sorry, but I don't wish to bash my skull with a cinder block as many times as it'd take to be reduced to the level where that would begin to make the least bit of sense.

Why do you rape puppies so much?
