War, Lies, and Videotape: A Viewer’s Guide to Fahrenheit 9/11

While checking out at Beast Buy this afternoon, I noticed that two people ahead of me were buying Michael "Tubby Riefenstahl" Moore's latest hunk of deceptive propaganda on DVD and a couple of others were picking up Disney's "Aladdin", causing me to muse to myself, "People are certainly into fantasy these days. Too bad they only think of Aladdin as the work of fiction"

Pointing out that Moore is a nefarious liar is like pointing out that he's fat, yet has his posters airbrushed to make him look less fat: Obvious to anyone with eyes, ears and a mind, yet not important to those who worship him. While playing the faux-populist, he raked in over $140 million by serving a stew of wishful thinking, conspiracy theories and old-fashioned character assassination to a audience of bitter liberals and the curious who unfortunately weren't very well warned what codswallop was being foisted on them.

The argument his defenders often used was, "If it's untrue, why hasn't anyone sued? A-ha! It must be true then!" As many sites in the blogosphere detailed then, not that anyone paid attention, Moore carefully used innuendo and tricky editing to create untruths that weren't outright lies.

If you saw his tract and/or are planning on renting it, do yourself a favor and have the detailed rebuttal available at the link above handy to see just how uncut-and-undried Moore's fantasy film is. I've got my own lengthy list of reasons I'm not voting for Dubya, but if you vote for Kerry based on what Moore shows and tells you, you're ripe to buy bridges over the East River and swamp land in Florida. In fact, why not just send me all your money now and I'll promise to buy something cool with it and not use it on drugs, like the other swindlers would do to you.

Also get the Report of the 9/11 Commission to see for yourself what was discovered instead of letting others tell you what they want you to believe. It's amazing that people are paying $16 to Moore to be lied to but aren't interested in getting the facts FOR FREE! What the f*ck is that about?!?

Bottom line: You can't call yourself informed with only one, slanted side to the story. EDUCATE YOURSELVES! Informed people can differ but when the Left is operating on power-lust, hatred and lies and refuses to allow open examinations of their claims, it's useless to discuss anything.
